Paris is a city that has an amazing bar scene. Throughout my years living here I have discovered quite a few that I really like and I have collected my favorite ones in the list below. Enjoy!
1. Prescription Cocktail Bar
23 Rue Mazarine, 75006
A super-cosy bar that feels like your living room. It is a quite dark bar on two floors with comfy couches on the upper floor. They have an innovative cocktail list that are constantly updated and the music is excellent. I feel perfectly at home here!
2. Candelaria
52 Rue de Saintonge, 75003
This is a speakeasy located in the Marais district. From the outside it looks like a taco place but one special door reveals this secret bar. It has a good selection of cocktails some of which are very special. Quite small and usually very crowded so be prepared to stand up.
3. Le Carmen
34 Rue Duperré, 75009
This bar is just stunning, the roof is high and the decor is beautiful. The cocktails are all based on gin, personally I never liked gin but I did enjoy these cocktails. They are very well prepared with good Gin so you do not really feel the Gin flavour.
4. Le Perchoir
14 Rue Crespin du Gast, 75011
This is the original Le Perchoir in the 11 arrondissement, there are two other Le Perchoir that recently opened but this one is my favorite! It is a rooftop bar which is open all year around, in the winter they have a tent and heating of course. There is an amazing view of Sacre Couer and very tasty Pisco Sours.
5. Ballroom du Beefclub
58 Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, 75001
This bar is located in a cellar, to get there you walk through a small staircase ornamented with candles. The atmosphere is cosy and chic, sometimes there is a dj playing music. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and the cocktails are delicious.
