Restaurants

Les Jardins du Presbourg
3 Av. de la Grande Armée, 75116 Paris

This is now one of my favourite restaurants in Paris! The venue is beautifully located right next to the L’Arc du Triumph. I found the service here to be excellent, our waitress was both nice and professional. I ordered a lovely truffle pasta with an amazing Pinot Noir, overall the evening here was perfect! It is good to be aware that this place is a bit fancy and they do have a door policy, so make sure to dress well and avoid sneakers. I think this is a great place for a nice date with your significant, a girls night or celebrating your birthday/any special occasion.

Sinner Paris
116 Rue du Temple, 75003 Paris

Located in a 5-star hotel with the same name, this trendy restaurant has a very impressive interior by designer Tristan Auer. It is a cool and trendy spot with a menu inspired by South American dishes. I love the atmosphere of this place! I would describe this place as lively, edgy and cosy. There is usually a Dj and and there is also a cool bar to enjoy upstairs.

Pirouette
5 Rue Mondétour, 75001 Paris

This French restaurant has a modern French cuisine, this is a calmer place perfect for a date, dinner with colleagues or family. You are sure to eat very well cooked, interesting food here and the waiters/waitresses can recommend a wine to fit your meal seamlessly. I continue going back to this great place located in the heart of Paris just behind Chatelet.

Shabour
19 Rue Saint-Sauveur, 75002 Paris

An Israeli restaurant with an interesting concept, the man behind this restaurant is the famous Israeli chef, Assaf Granit. There are no tables but the guests are invited to sit around a giant marble counter framing the kitchen. This creates a unique and intimate atmosphere. The food here is also really good and creative, you get served small dishes as part of a menu package. This is not only a restaurant but a whole experience.

Beefbar
3 Av. De La Grande Armée, 75116 Paris

Looking for excellent meat, this is your place! This is a busy restaurant and the service could be improved, but the food is really good still. They also have an excellent list of delicious cocktails. It is good to be aware that there are two rooms with a bit different atmospheres, the main room is very beautiful with a breathtaking roof. When we went there we got a table in the other area, at first we were a bit disappointed but even if it was quite not as exceptional as the other room in terms of design it still had an atmosphere we enjoyed.

Hôtel Particulier Montmartre
23 Av. Junot Pavillon D, 75018 Paris

This boutique hotel has a beautiful restaurant called Le Grand Salon. The restaurant is very elegant with a red floor and velvet chairs. The food is really good and I think the atmosphere make this perfect for a special date. The hotel also has a nice bar downstairs Le Très Particulier and an amazing outside garden, I will for sure return this dreamy place in the summer.

Alcazar
62 Rue Mazarine, 75006 Paris

Alcazar is a trendy restaurant located in Saint-Germain-Des-Près neighbourhood. It is a big place with a bar and an elegant decoration with lots of plants. The food is tasty with both French and international dishes. It can get quite busy and loud with music towards later on in the evenings but I have also been at the restaurant early at 19:00 and then it has been quite calm. So be prepared for a festive atmosphere later in the evenings, especially on weekends.

Cafe Charlot
38 Rue de Bretagne, 75003 Paris

This charming French brasserie has a simple but yet delicious menu, I recommend their tartare de boeuf, very delicious! This is a perfect lunch spot but make sure you go there early because it is popular and you might have to wait quite long for a table.

Breizh Café
116 Rue Du Temple, 75003 Paris

This is my go to place for good crêpes! They make excellent traditional buckwheat crêpes with many interesting toppings and tasty cider from Bretagne. They have several locations in Paris now but my favourite is the original one in Marais.

Maison Russe
59 Av. Raymond Poincaré, 75016 Paris,

This is a recently opened Russian restaurant in Paris. The restaurant is placed on different and floors with private rooms upstairs. Everything here is very luxurious; the building, the rooms, decorations and plates. A great restaurant to spoil yourself or someone you care about. The food was great and likewise the service. I had a wonderful lunch here and I would love to return here for a dinner. There is also a bar in the restaurant and I heard rumours that it turns quite lively later in the evenings.
